1. Who we are
Tiza is a service of Cedano Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Tiza," "we" or "us"). You can reach us at support@tizamenu.com.
These terms are the agreement between Cedano Labs LLC and the business that creates a Tiza account ("you"). You accept them when you check the box at sign-up. We keep a record of the date and the version you accepted, and they're always available on this page.
2. Tiza is for businesses
Tiza is a tool for restaurants, bars, cafés and other food businesses. When you sign up, you confirm that:
- you're acting for your business, not as a consumer;
- you're at least 18 and authorized to bind your business;
- the information you give us is accurate, and you'll keep it up to date.
3. Your account
- Each account is for one location and one menu. If you have more locations, open one account per location.
- You log in with your email and password. Keep them safe: you're responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone got in without permission, change your password and let us know.
4. Plans
- Free: your menu on Tiza's template with a "Made with Tiza" badge, in your main language, without your logo, photos or stats. Unlimited items, scans and tables, a QR code for every table, instant changes and allergen icons.
- Pro: everything in Free, plus your own design (logo, colors, photos and fonts), your menu in up to 7 languages, no badge, and menu visit stats.
- Trial: when you sign up, you get 14 days of Pro free, no card needed. If you haven't upgraded when it ends, your account moves to Free on its own. Your menu never goes offline and nothing is deleted: your design, photos and translations come back if you go Pro.
- Mexico: Pro isn't available yet for restaurants in Mexico. They start on Free, without the trial, and we'll email them when Pro arrives.
- Usage limits: some features have caps so we can keep the service running. Today they're 20 new designs during the trial, 30 per month on Pro and 5 menu imports per day. You'll always see them in your dashboard. Editing your design by hand has no cap.
- What each plan includes and what it costs is at tizamenu.com/en/pricing.
5. Price, payment and taxes
- Price: Pro is billed per location, monthly, in advance, in US dollars. The price depends on the country your card was issued in, and you'll see it with any taxes before you confirm. It's set when you upgrade: if you switch cards later, it doesn't change.
- Founder price: the first 50 locations to go Pro pay a founder price for as long as their subscription stays active. If you cancel, you lose it, and if you come back, you pay the regular price. If your subscription is canceled because we couldn't charge your card, you get the founder price back if you pay within 30 days: just email us.
- When you're charged: if you upgrade during your trial, your first charge lands the day the trial ends, so you don't lose a day. After that, every month on the same date. You pay by card through Stripe, which processes the payment. We never see your card details.
- Taxes: prices don't include taxes. If we're required to collect sales tax, VAT or a similar tax, we add it and show it before you confirm. If your business is in the European Union and you give us a valid VAT number, we don't charge VAT and you account for it yourself (reverse charge).
- Invoices: we email you an invoice for every charge, and you can find them all in Plan → Manage subscription, where you can also update your billing details.
- Failed payments: we retry for about 2 weeks and email you so you can update your card. You keep Pro in the meantime. If we still can't charge you, the subscription is canceled and your menu moves to Free.
- Price changes: if we change the price of your plan, we'll email you at least 30 days in advance, and you can cancel before it applies. The founder price never goes up while your subscription stays active.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Cancel anytime, with no contract and no fee, from Plan → Manage subscription or by emailing us. You keep Pro until the end of the month you paid for, then your menu moves to Free. If your first charge catches you off guard, ask within 7 days and we'll refund it in full. The details are in our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.
7. Your content
- The menu, items, prices, text, logo and photos you upload are yours.
- To run the service, you give us a free license, for as long as you have an account, to store, copy and adapt them (for example, resizing photos or translating text), to process them with the providers in section 8, and to publish them on your menu.
- Your menu is public. It's at tizamenu.com/<your-restaurant-name> and behind your QR codes, and search engines like Google can show it. For now it can't be hidden. Accounts without a published menu don't show up in search engines.
- On the Free plan, your menu has a "Made with Tiza" badge that links to our site.
- We won't use your menu, your logo or your restaurant's name in our advertising without your written permission.
- You confirm you have the right to use everything you upload (like your photos and logo) and that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights. Don't upload photos where people can be recognized without their permission.
8. What the AI does
Tiza uses artificial intelligence models to read your menu from a photo or a PDF, suggest designs and translate your menu. The models are run by Cloudflare and, when needed, by Anthropic or Google.
- What the AI produces is a suggestion. Check items, prices and translations before you publish them. You can edit everything.
- The AI never adds allergens that aren't written on your original menu. You mark and review your allergens.
- Designs go through readability checks, but they may still have mistakes. If you spot one, change it or let us know.
- The photos and PDFs you upload to import your menu are deleted once the import is done. We don't use your content to train AI models, and our providers aren't allowed to either.
9. Your menu and the law
You decide what you publish, and you're responsible for your menu to your guests and to the authorities. In particular:
- Allergens: the allergen information for each item is yours. Tiza helps you show it, with icons, a legend and a note asking guests to tell your staff about allergies, but it doesn't check your recipes. Some states and cities require specific allergen notices: check your local rules.
- Prices: show prices as your local rules require.
- Printed menus: if your local rules require a printed menu or posted prices, Tiza is an add-on, not a replacement.
10. Your guests' data
When someone opens your menu, we process some data on your behalf, for example to count visits on Pro. Where data protection laws require it, the Data Processing Addendum below applies, and it's part of these terms. How we handle your own data as a Tiza customer is in our Privacy Policy.
11. Acceptable use
You may not use Tiza to:
- publish illegal, misleading or offensive content, or content that infringes anyone's rights;
- publish the menu of a business that isn't yours or hasn't authorized you;
- try to access other accounts or systems, get around usage limits or overload the service;
- resell Tiza without an agreement with us.
12. The service
- We work to keep Tiza up all the time, but we can't promise it will never be down or have bugs. If we need to take it down for maintenance, we'll try to let you know first.
- Tiza, its software, template, font and ornament libraries and trademarks belong to us or their authors. While you have an account, you can use the designs Tiza creates for you on your menu.
- We may improve or change features. If a change takes away something important from your paid plan, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance and you can cancel before it applies.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- Tiza is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
- We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, such as lost profits or lost customers, or for errors in the content you publish.
- Our total liability to you for any claim related to Tiza is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
- None of this limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud or gross negligence.
- You'll indemnify us against third-party claims caused by the content you publish or by your breach of these terms.
14. Closing your account and suspension
- You can stop using Tiza anytime. To delete your account and your data, email us from your account's email address. We do it within one month, and your menu and QR codes stop working. We keep invoices for as long as tax laws require.
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaches these terms, for example for illegal content or fraud. Unless it's urgent, we'll warn you first and give you time to fix it.
15. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll let you know by email and in your dashboard at least 30 days in advance, unless the law requires the change sooner. If you don't agree, you can cancel before it applies. If you keep using Tiza after that, you accept the new terms.
16. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Before filing a claim, email us and we'll try to resolve it within 30 days. If we can't, the state and federal courts located in Wyoming have jurisdiction.

Data Processing Addendum
This addendum applies when we process personal data of your guests on your behalf and a data protection law requires a processing agreement, such as the EU or UK GDPR.
- Roles. You, the restaurant, are the controller. Cedano Labs LLC is the processor.
- Subject matter and duration. Hosting and showing your menu, counting how many times it's opened and, on Pro, telling new visits from returning ones. It lasts as long as your account.
- Data and data subjects. Guests and visitors of your menu. Connection data (IP address, browser and phone language), used on the spot to show and protect the menu, and, on Pro, a cookie with the date of the last visit. We don't keep data about individuals: only daily counts.
- Instructions. We only process the data under these terms and your dashboard settings, which are your instructions. If we think an instruction breaks the law, we'll tell you.
- Confidentiality. Only people who need it can access the data, and they're bound by confidentiality.
- Security. Encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted and protected access, cookies without identifiers, and aggregated counts with no data about individuals.
- Sub-processors. You authorize us to use Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which hosts Tiza and serves it from its network. If we add or replace a sub-processor, we'll email you 30 days in advance, and you can object by canceling your account. Each sub-processor is bound by the same obligations as this addendum.
- International transfers. Cedano Labs LLC is in the United States. For personal data of people in the European Economic Area, the Standard Contractual Clauses of Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914, Module 2 (controller to processor), apply and are incorporated by reference, with the law and courts of Spain (Clauses 17 and 18). This addendum serves as their appendix. For the UK and Switzerland, they apply with the adaptations their authorities require.
- Data subject requests. We help you answer requests from your guests. If we receive one, we forward it to you.
- Security breaches. If we suffer a breach affecting this data, we'll notify you without undue delay, with the information we have, so you can meet your obligations.
- Assistance. We help you, as far as it concerns us, with impact assessments and consultations with authorities.
- End of processing. When you delete your account, we delete the data. If you ask before then, we'll send you your visit counts.
- Audits. We give you the information needed to show we comply with this addendum. If an inspection is needed, it's done with reasonable notice.
- Your obligations. You inform your guests and have a legal basis for the processing. Tiza helps: it shows the privacy information on your menu on your behalf and, in Europe, the notice that asks for permission before setting the visits cookie.
